Articles to Help is HSINH's Voice on the Web for many Homeschoolers and other writers who love to speak out, help and encourage others. Please read this page carefully.

WHO MAY SUBMIT ARTICLES?

Anyone is welcome to submit an article.

As our general policy we are a family and education friendly site. Our main goal is to provide avenues for Homeschoolers to excel. One such avenue we utilize is publishing and promoting the writing of our homeschoolers. However, we gladly accept articles, poetry, short stories and for consideration from anyone who has passion enough to write and submit them.

WHAT KINDS OF ARTICLES ARE ALLOWED?

We accept all kinds of writings including:

• Biographies

• Devotions

• How To articles

• Non-Fiction Stories

• Short Story Fiction

• Poetry

WHAT TYPES OF ARTICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED?

As a family oriented site we do not post or distribute articles that are:

• Adult oriented (Pornographic in speech)

• Defamatory to any race, religion or group.

• Unethical, unlawful, libelous, slanderous or unnecessarily rude.

• Press release, media blurbs or other marketing schema.

As a Christian owned and operated site we do not post or distribute articles that defame or malign the name of Jesus Christ or seek to cause confusion surrounding His Person and teachings.

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY ARTICLE?

Articles must be submitted electronically either by

• E-mail

• Form Upload

• File Upload (if you have been given prior clearance to do so)

We accept files via e-mail with these extensions .txt, .wpd, .doc, and .pdf.

Once your article is submitted for consideration, you can expect to wait a minimum of FIVE (5) business days before we contact you to let you know if your work was accepted and when it will appear on the site.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

Submitting your article to HSINH does not mean that we will definitely post it. All articles are reviewed for content and to some extent grammar.

Word length is important. Please try to limit your work to Three thousand (3000) words or less. This is not a hard and fast rule, but we would encourage you to keep this in mind.

Please check your work for spelling and grammatical errors. HSINH does not edit content or grammar.

You may be allowed to post your photograph with your work. Please email us for details on doing this.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you own the rights (copyright) to the work you submit. HSINH only accepts work from the copyright owners and by submitting articles to HSINH you certify that you own the rights. Plagiarism and copyright violations can be serious legal issues. HSINH will cooperate fully with the authorities in order to help prosecute violators.

WILL I GET PAID FOR MY WORK

HSINH does not pay for articles. However, by inserting your name and url and other contact information, you are effectively getting free advertising, publicity and exposure to people that you might not otherwise reach.
