Homeschool In Houston Calendar of Events

Houston Homeschoolers' Resources maintains a free to use, Calendar of Events of activities happening in Houston and it's surrounding areas. Most of these events are specificially for Homeschoolers. They include anything from Craft days to Conferences and Recitals

About the Calendar:

The Calendar is a database driven program. Users can browse the calendar by:

• Day
• Week
• Month
• Year
• Pre-defined Categories

Users can also see Calendar entries of past events. Becasue of the nature of the Calendar, entries remain viewable over a period of years.

The Calendar will show the event title and beginning and ending times on the given date. Clicking on any entry in the Calendar will produce a not pad showing addiional information about the event and any contact information provide.

Putting Your Entry In the Calendar

If you or your affiliated organization has an activity that you want place on our calendar simply email your event information to:

Please include

• Event Title
• Category your event should be placed under
• Beginning and Ending Times if applicatble
• Address where your event will be held
• Contact person
• Email Address of Contact
• Phone number
• URL of your website if applicable
• A descriptive paragraph of your event.

It takes at least five (5) business days for your event to be posted. Posting to the Calendar is always free.

Login Rights

Posting to the Calendar always requires approval from the Moderator. However, some people or organization may request a Login (user) name and Password to allow them to post to the calendar. This speeds up approval time significantly. If you would like to request Login Rights please email us at
