The political and legal climate in Texas is generally very favorable to homeschooling families.

For legal purposes "The Home School" is defined as "Non Traditional Education" and is consider an "Unaccredited Private School". As such, homeschooling families are unaffected by many laws that apply to public schools.s

Texas recognizes the Home Schooled Child and through legislation is assuring that the Home Schooled Child recieves the same treatment, upon graduation, accorded to any child attending a Public or Accredited Private School.
