We are an association of independent teachers who have come together to coordinate their schedules and locations to better serve the home school community, providing Homeschool Instructional Support (HIS). We believe parents have a God-given responsibility to teach their children. We hope to assist parents in home schooling their children by offering high-quality college preparatory classes. There are no registration fees or fundraisers. No parent volunteering is needed.

PACES (Parent and Child Educational Services) is an educational organization providing one or two day per week classes exclusive to home educating families. PACES employs a Classical approach to education focusing on grammar, logic, rhetoric and the study of humanities, history and literature. PACES offers math and science courses along with foreign language to complete this superior liberal arts program. Our classical school meets twice a week at two campuses in Houston. We serve grades K thru 12 and offer a variety of classes.

GOAL:To provide high-quality academic classes two days a week in the North Houston Area for the homeschooled student K through 12th grade. The Light House Education Center (TLH) classes are designed to enhance not replace the teaching of home education parents. Most of the classes will require significant daily work at home to prepare for the next week's class. Our teachers are Christians. Most classes will not be studying the Bible directly but Christian concepts and principles will be an integral part of their academic experience with The Light House and an integral part of the conduct expectations of the students.
