Waldorf Method of Homeschooling

Founded in Europe in 1919, Waldorf education now includes schools on every continent and a rapidly growing home schooling movement.Waldorf method or philosophy focuses on developing the whole child; mind and soul. Core subject like math and language arts are taught, but the focus is placed on the artisitic expression. Arts: Music, painting, drama even sewing are a foundation of this method of teaching. The curriculum encompasses all grades from preschool through 12th. This may well be the most gentle of traditional schooling techniques in that competitiveness and grading are down played in favor of individual expression.
